Privacy Policy

The Proxy Parlor is a small business based in North Carolina, USA, that prints playtest proxy cards. This policy explains what information we collect when you use theproxyparlor.shop, how we use it, and your choices. Questions? Email support@theproxyparlor.shop.

• Order details: your name, email address, and shipping address, entered on the checkout page run by our payment processor, Stripe.
• Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• What you order: your decklists, art choices, add-ons, and any images you upload for printing.
• Your cart: saved in your own browser (local storage) so it's still there when you come back. It isn't sent to us until you check out.
• Technical data: like any website, our hosting provider automatically logs basic request information such as IP address and browser type, for security and to keep the site running.

• To print, pack, and ship your order, and to email you about it.
• To handle cancellations, refunds, and reprints.
• To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
• To meet our tax, accounting, and legal obligations.

We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with services that help us run the shop:

• Stripe: payment processing and receipts.
• Vercel: website hosting and storage of order details and uploaded images.
• Resend: delivery of order emails.
• Shipping carriers: your name and address, to deliver your package.
• Scryfall: card images on our site load from Scryfall's servers, which receive your browser's standard request information. No order details are shared with Scryfall.

We may also disclose information if required by law.

• Our whole site, including checkout, is served over encrypted HTTPS connections.
• Payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Card numbers go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers.
• Order details and uploads are stored with established providers (Vercel, Stripe, Resend) that encrypt data in transit and at rest.
• Access to order information is limited to the people who fulfill your order, and the accounts involved are protected with strong passwords and two-factor authentication where available.
• Uploaded images and order files are stored under long, randomly generated names that can't be guessed or browsed.

We don't use advertising or analytics trackers. Stripe may use cookies on its checkout page for fraud prevention and to process your payment.

We keep order records for as long as we need them to fulfill and support your order and to meet tax and accounting requirements. Uploaded images are kept only as long as they're useful for your order and any reprints, and we'll delete them sooner if you ask.

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@theproxyparlor.shop from the address you ordered with. We'll respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it, such as for taxes.

Our shop isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. Changes apply to information collected after that date.
